Easter dishes and traditions vary widely by region and by family, but the holiday is often ushered in with a glorious breakfast or brunch on Easter Sunday. If you’re looking for ideas and inspiration, I have curated a fantastic collection of Easter casseroles from some of my favorite food friends across the internet (along with some of my own).
This selection comprised of sweet and savory options offers a wide variety of dishes, most of which are make-ahead for easy entertaining. There are plenty of egg and meat options as well as vegetarian, vegan and even a Whole 30 breakfast casserole, so browse through until you find the right one for your family. If you are looking for gluten-free Easter recipes, I’ve got you covered there too.
And of course for those who need to have something sweet on the brunch table (my hand is raised) there are lots of options; Baked French toast drizzled with maple syrup and stuffed with tart pockets of blueberries. There are fine strawberries this time of year and they should make an appearance on the Easter table as well in bread pudding made from Mexican Conchas and soaked in tres leches cream.
As for what to serve with these main course recipes, think about whipping up a some Italian salsa verde to drizzle over everything or making a batch of my homemade almond and cranberry granola to serve with yogurt and fruit.
