Can You Put Frozen Chicken In The Crockpot?

One note before we dive into the recipes: I get asked all the time about using frozen chicken for slow cooker meals and even though many internet recipes say it’s okay—it’s not.

The chicken spends too much time thawing in the slow cooker and can easily pick up bacteria that can make you really sick. Make sure the chicken is at least three-quarters of the way thawed before you put it in the Crock Pot, ‘kay?
